I finished my first book of the year this week. It was the Sean Smith biography of Adele, something that I wouldn't usually read, gifted to me by the lovely Jemima, and I must say, her book choice has not failed, as usual. I absolutely loved it and I am so happy I was given it because now I am even more looking forward to seeing her again in one of her final '25' tour concerts in Wembley at the start of July. I went to one of her concerts in March 2016 and it was the most incredible night ever, so I have high hopes for this year.
Also, It has been just over a year (a year and a couple of days) since me and my friends went on the year 11 French trip to Nice. It was one of the best 5 days of my life and seeing all of the photos again a year later have made me realise how amazing the time I had out there was. Below are a few of the many photos I took during my time out there, a trip I will not forget in a while!
Whilst I have been here in Cumbria, I went to a really lovely little tea shop and took a few photos. The hot chocolates were amazing and they sold lots of knick-knacks that you know you don't need but you really do because they lighten up the room so much and make it so much more homely.
Also, I love Meryl Streep a lot. That is all.
Aw I'm so glad you loved your book! Literally, the past month has basically just been Nice nostalgia. (Love the last bit on Meryl.)
